Staring at my lovely pink planner I’m a bit overwhelmed. Just a bit. I can do this. I leave on Saturday for a week away with my Grandson—more on that later this week. There is a long list of things I need to do before I depart. There are also church commitments, family commitments, and LIFE to deal with. I need to be prepared for bumps, speed, and sudden turns.
With my Caroline hat on I have more than a few. First comes reading. I have to read and comment on two Beta2 drafts from my compadres in Love’s Perilous Road. I also have a beta from a friend to read.
The cover and pre-order link for Love’s Perilous Road are done and we plan to announce them on Saturday at the Bluestocking Belle’s 10th Anniversary Party.
Then there is the party itself. There will be, as you see, (ok-if you squint!) about thirty authors offering games, prizes, sales and what not. I have to be prepared to handle two sessions while packing and waiting for an airport limo! Do come! Stay all day or pop in and out, or come the next day–it will all still be up to see. Meanwhile I hope to complete a short story I am writing for the Word on Fire Writing Community, pop in to The Tea Room on Facebook Wednesday from 5 to 6 EDT, create some memes from my Love’s Perilous Road story, and squeeze in another blog post on Friday. That last one will mark the return of Caroline’s Rambles in this space. I also plan to restart my facts behind the fiction guest posts in April but that may be renamed. WHEW.
So I’m climbing in my four wheel drive, buckling my seat belt, and setting off! But first, coffee.
