The White Stuff

Peder_Monsted_-_Vinterdag_i_Lille_Sorup_-_1922-300x243 Author's Blog Books But First Coffee I hit a bump in the road last week, Greg’s one year death anniversary. It was a speed bump for sure, but I was productive. In real life I cleaned out kitchen cupboards, packed up my old dishes for the Greendrop folks, and bought a new set. The old China wasn’t microwave safe.

Here at my desk I reacquainted myself with Love’s Perilous Road, met with the Bluestocking Belles, and got started. After the usual fiddling around my story got off the ground and I’m on Chapter 2. Not bad, but I have to pick up my pace because the first draft is due February 15 and I leave for Italy a week later. I’m going to have to beta read the others’ stories on the plane.

I also prepared for a PR tour of social media.  Watch for me on Facebook, the Web and, yes, X promoting Snowed by the Wallflower. I’ve also promised a newsletter January 24, so this week will be mega busy with all that. Here are just a few of the places you might find me giving out prizes, games and information:

Collette’s Cheries – 1/27: 5-7pm EST

cup-of-coffee-300x202 Author's Blog Books But First Coffee More in Feburary—and also Sherry Ewing’s First Kiss Friday blog and Jude Knights Tea with her duchess. Authors truely do support one another. I’m saving the best prizes for the book’s birthday party with my Fellow Travelers.

The sun is bright; the world is shining white; the frigid air is a fright. It is a good day to stay right here at my desk. But first, coffee!
