If I seem to have gone silent this past month, there is a reason, dear readers. Beloved has been and is quite ill, and I’ve become a full time care giver. There have been no cycles in my brain for writing, alas. Some days I have no time or energy to read!
He is rebounding somewhat and we’re developing a routine, so I’m hopeful I will be able to return to The Unlikely Duke bit by bit. It was heating up nicely when I had to set it aside. I can’t say enough about the kindness and understanding from Dragonblade Publishing as I’ve left my deadlines in shreds.
We’re living one day at a time, each one as well as we can. Every one we have is a joy, and we’re valuing our time together. If I can begin to fold in writing on a day like today, I will, but this stage of my life will be a marathon, not a sprint, and it will be some time before my schedule returns to anything approaching normal.
I miss my life with my readers, but we do what we can. And even in my current situation–first, coffee.
Best wishes for you and beloved for continued healing. Do what you can do, we’ll be here when you’re back to normal.
Dear Caroline,
Please take care of yourself and Beloved, first and foremost!
I can wait for your next book, no problem!
Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers!
I am so sorry to hear that your Beloved isn’t doing well. You and your Beloved are in my prayers.
My heart goes out to you. Prayers and blessings. Your readers will miss you but understand and want what is best for you and yours right now. You and your beloved will be in my thoughts daily.
Dearest Darling comes first. There is only so much room and time for those closest to us. Please do not stress and worry, I know that writing is an outlet, but somethings are so much more important. Many prayers and blessing for you both. I pray for his full recovery and your full sanity. Gentle hugs for you both.
You and your beloved are in my prayers.
