April sped by in a whirlwind of writing, group promotion, and upheaval. I’m happy to report that The Upright Son has been handed to the editor and is on schedule to release on June 30. Alas I don’t have a presale date yet. It will be tight, possibly the first week in June. I’m anxious to get this conclusion to the Ashmead Heirs into your hands!
Meanwhile Desperate Daughters, with my novella, Lady Dorothea’s Curate, will drop to ebooks tomorrow. It is a gem of a book with interconnected stories by nine authors, all set in York during the Season, all with sigh worthy happy endings. You can still get it for prerelease pricing this week only. in a week it reverts to retail. In addition, you still have time to enter our “Help us share” contest for a chance to win one more week of prizes and be entered for the grand prize.
Don’t forget Sunflower Season, which provides you with stories by seventy wonderful authors and a chance to support relief for the people of Ukraine. Did I mention The Price of Glory has been nominated for a RONE award? We should know if it is a finalist later this month.
I’m in the process of finalizing a contract for a new series to be called Entitled Gentlemen with Dragonblade. It will feature characters you may recognize from The Ashmead Heirs series. I am currently writing the first one which tells the story of Gideon Kendrick—who many of you may recognize from The Defiant Daughter as the wealthy mine owner who should have been a duke, but isn’t. I’ll publish more details and covers when I have them.
For now, I just keep on writing. But first, coffee!
Yay! Looking forward to Gideon’s story
