Notes from my Price of Glory beta readers are coming in. The story is terrific, but I have a bit of work to do. The book is good but in two weeks it will be much better polished. I sent in the cover art form with some nervous fidgeting. Those things are always dicey. I’ll keep you posted.
I made good progress on The Defiant Daughter last week. My heroine has discovered the stepson she thought was dead in an unexpected place and in much better conditions than she feared.
In the meantime, word comes that Valentines from Bath remains at .99, but only briefly. If you haven’t read this one, now is a good time to grab a copy because the price is going up. (It is from two years ago). It includes my story of a man who owns a candle factory…and a woman in desperate straights.
Anything can happen in the magic of music and candlelight as couples dance, flirt, and open themselves to romantic possibilities. Problems and conflict may just fade away at a Valentine’s Day Ball.
Dukes, earls, tradesmen, and the occasional charlatan —alert to the possibilities as the event draws nigh—all appear in this collection of five terrific Valentine’s Day stories.
Reverts to $3.99 after Valentine’s Day. Buy it now for under a dollar. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MP7WV4T/ #99cents
Storm & Shelter is also .99 during the pre-sale period. After April 13 it will revert to $3.99 as well. A wicked storm, an inn full of stranded passengers–intrigue and romance abound!
Today: plug away on The Defiant Daughter. Tomorrow: begin the final edit on The Price of Glory. But first, coffee.
Both excellent value at $3.99 — but a bargain at 99c
