Time hangs heavy when you wait. Nothing about The Unexpected Wife has gone quickly, and this last part seems to drag forever. I am not convinced that independently publishing goes any faster than publishing through a small press, but in that case, the author is in control of the entire process. The Unexpected Wife is in the hands of Soul Mate Publishing. Editorial is complete and the book is being formatted for print and ebook publication. Let me just say I love those folks, and I’m super happy I don’t have to do that part. It is just, well, I CAN’T WAIT.
The Unexpected Wife is the story of a duke who accepts a mission to China to escape his grief over the death of his son in 1838. He finds much more than he expected on the other side of the world. Read more about it here.
Oops. Sorry, I didn’t mean to shout. I should be getting ready to hit the ground running as soon as I have Advance Review Copies and the book is on pre-sale. I’m on it! But first? Coffee.
